We take the hard work out of selling your gown. Once you hand over your dress, we literally take care of the rest!
We take all sizes and styles of gowns, but you must meet our 'conditions' listed below.
How it works
We Do The Work For You
Providing a beautiful luxe environment to store and view your dress makes it much more likely that we will find a buyer for your gown. It also means you do not need to worry about the hassle of selling it yourself or online. We ensure that your gown is treated with the utmost care, by facilitating all of our one-on-one appointments with Bride's-to-Be.
Our Conditions of Consignment
If you are interested in selling your gown with Bluebird Bridal we have a few conditions your gown needs to be. These include:
- no more than 10 years old, exceptions for vintage or classic gowns
- in excellent condition
- professionally dry cleaned
In your consignment appointment we will discuss your desired outcome from the sale of your garment and accessories, our commission, sellers fees and the length of time you wish for us to hold, market and sell your dress. Please note that the consignment term is flexible, but we usually recommend 6 months to one year.

How Much Can I Sell My Gown for?
This depends on a range of factors including designer, style, age, alterations, imperfections and condition of the gown.
In your consignment appointment we discuss and agree on your desired selling price. As part of this process we recommend you bring your original purchase receipt/document with you. This helps to confirm your gowns age, original purchase price and confirm your garment is genuine.
Pre-loved gowns usually sell for around 40 - 60% of the original purchase price.
How Will You Market My Gown?
Bluebird Bridal will use both online and offline channels to market your gown. We request that you provide a photo of the front and back of the gown when we consign your garment to assist in marketing. Real images from your wedding definitely help to inspire Brides-to-Be and attract them in studio! We may also commission our own photography of the gown to assist where required.
Most importantly we are your biggest advocates in studio and your gown and accessories will be available during our tailored one-on-one appointments.
What Happens If My Dress Sells?
Well, this is the best part! When the gown is sold, we will transfer the money directly to your account minus our commission and sellers fees.
Bluebird Bridal retains a 30% commission on all items + a $50 sellers fee if the gown is sold for less than $3,000.
